Hess Services is offering a surplus WPI PowerHouse Quick Access catalytic converter, manufactured by Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI).
Also includes muffler/silencer package as shown in picture.
Will separate muffler/silencer from converter to facilitate shipping on 2 skids upon customer request.

This is a large industrial catalytic converter assembly designed for use with stationary engine exhaust systems. The PowerHouse product line was used in industrial natural-gas engine applications, including natural-gas compressor installations.
Application / Plant History
It is our understanding that this catalytic converter was removed from one of the large operating, natural-gas compressor packages at a natural gas stabilization plant from which Hess Services disassembled and acquired the equipment.
Based on the equipment configuration and information provided to us, we believe this converter was associated with one of the Waukesha-powered 5790 Ariel JGE/4 compressor packages at the plant. However, we have not been able to establish documentation that conclusively identifies the specific compressor engine with which this particular converter was installed. Online references indicate the 5790GL driving an Ariel JGE/4 may have have produced 13,218 lb/hr of exhaust while generating up to 1215 BHP.
The model, serial number, and August 1995 manufacture date are confirmed directly from the manufacturer's identification plate.
Condition
This is a surplus industrial component being offered in its existing condition. The unit has been removed from service and should be evaluated by the purchaser for the intended application. No representation is made regarding current catalyst condition, emissions performance, remaining catalyst life, or suitability for a particular engine or regulatory application.
