Terms of Service and Refund Policy

Returns Policy

You may return new,
unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a refund on the product(s), less all shipping costs and a restocking fee. A non refundable restocking fee up to 30% may apply.   Returns are also accepted if we send you the wrong part as described.  Contact Us to obtain an RMA# and instructions before shipping the product back.

We will waive teh restocking fee, and arrange and pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item as described)     

For precast products/tanks, inspect goods prior to offloading when possible as we will not cover damages caused by you while unloading.

Surplus Inventory

Items identified as Surplus are typically unused but may be older stock, discontinued, or no longer part of current production. These items may not include original packaging or documentation and are sold as-is, without warranty or guarantee unless otherwise stated.

Customers should review individual product descriptions carefully for specific condition details. For critical applications, especially those involving soft goods (such as seals, gaskets, or elastomers), inspection and suitability verification prior to use is recommended.

Out of Warranty/As-is merchandise:

Items sold that are marked as 'out of warranty' and/or "as is", are sold as is without guarantee.  Once you use, assemble or install the product in any way, no returns/refunds will be provided.

Damaged/Missing Items:

If a box/item appears damaged before opening, contact us for instructions before opening the merchandise. 

For boxes/crates you open, if the product appears damaged, missing or you received the wrong product, contact us immediately for instructions, and for filing a claim with the shipper when applicable.  Do not discard the box or packaging materials.

Refunds:

When refunds are provided you should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping


We ship to anywhere within the continental US. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products have to shipped through freight.

When you place an order, we will quote shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.  For Hess local/regional delivered products including large tanks and pre-cast products, we will provide you a delivery quote and send you an invoice you can use to check out online and pay for both the merchandise and delivery together.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
